Once a tree has been removed, it is often necessary to remove the stump too. This can be to allow for replanting, establishing a lawn area, to reduce the chance of pest infestation or simply because the stump is unsightly or presents a trip hazard. Stump grinding, involves the removal of a stump to a specified depth, generally between 150mm and 300mm below ground level. Stump Grinding Canberra has a range stump grinding machines which will allow us to efficiently remove stumps of any size. Stumps located in areas with tight access restraints can be tackled with one of our smaller machines. All stump grinding works will be undertaken by the Stump Grinding Canberra’s fully trained and experienced operators. Upon completion of stump removal, remaining holes will be back-filled with the grindings, unless otherwise specified. The grindings can be removed from site and the hole back-filled with soil upon request, this task would incur an additional cost.
